ACHIEVEMENTS

Motor Carrier Service, Inc., of Northwood was named "Best Fleet for Company Drivers" by the Truckload Carriers Association.

Nominated for-hire trucking companies are evaluated on the range and depth of offered programs, the overall effectiveness of those programs across key metrics, and the responses of surveyed drivers.

Stacey Henry has been promoted to vice president of field services and client relations for Whitehouse-based Mariposa Insurance Services. She joined Mariposa in 2005. Mariposa is an independent adjusting firm managing policyholder claims for insurance companies.

Christopher W. Beeman has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Findlay-based National Lime And Stone Co. The company also named Chad D. Doll vice president for corporate relations and development, Tony L. Price senior vice president for sales, Timothy J. DiBerardino vice president of marketing and distribution, Scott L. Rhodes vice president of manufacturing, and Brian J. Wheeler group vice president for support services.

SCORE will host a seminar called "Financial Management for Your Business" Thursday from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Mercy Health building, 2200 Jefferson Ave., Toledo.
