BOWLING GREEN — Following Tuesday’s passage of a 20-year, 0.6-mill bond issue to replace the swimming pool at City Park, Bowling Green’s parks and recreation department has scheduled two public meetings to review plans for the new pool.

The meetings are to be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Saturday at the Simpson Building, 1291 Conneaut Ave.

The bond issue will generate $3.8 million to build an outdoor pool in the same spot as the 1963 pool.

Plans for the aquatic facility are available for review at the Bowling Green Community Center and online at bgohio.org.

The public can submit comments at the meetings or to the parks and recreation department through March 30.

The final plans will be based on the existing plan and input from the public.
