Wood County residents interested in learning how to identify and report severe weather occurrences to the National Weather Service and local officials are invited to attend the annual SKYWARN training at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Central Joint Fire Station, 13179 Mermill Rd., Portage.
Sponsored by the Wood County Emergency Management Agency, the weather spotters training will be presented by National Weather Service personnel. The training is open to the public. Registration before the session is not required.
