Mobile Meals schedules annual chili cook-off
3/19/2012Mobile Meals of Toledo will sponsor the 20th Annual Great Chili Cook-Off Saturday in South Toledo.
More than 25 teams are to compete in the event at the Stranahan Great Hall, 4645 Heatherdowns Blvd., from noon to 4 p.m. Admission and chili samples are free.
All proceeds from other concessions benefit Mobile Meals, which delivers nutritious food.
The agency runs the Meals on Wheels Program, serving over 600 people daily, and the Weekender Program, serving about 1,100 students weekly during the school year.
