Amy Fisher, left, of Lancaster, Pa., talks about a foam trainer plane with Mike Miller of Temperance and Tom Parent of Toledo at the RC Expo in downtown Toledo’s SeaGate Convention Centre. Toledo’s Weak Signals RC Club was host to its 58th annual expo Friday through Sunday. RC stands for radio-controlled, which is how the hobbyists operate model planes, boats, and cars.

Gavin Douglas, 8, of Sylvania, grandson of a founder and life member of the Toledo club, operates an RC flight simulator at the expo Sunday. This year’s exposition had more than 200 exhibitors in 372 booths and drew 10,000 paid attendees in its three-day run.
