Cedar Point is removing the WildCat roller coaster to expand its Celebration Plaza.

Officials said the 33-year-old WildCat was coming to the end of its useful life, given low ridership and increased maintenance.

WildCat, which provided more than 18 million rides, will be gone by opening day May 12.
