Sandusky Co. phone service accidentally cut
5/10/2012FREMONT -- Phone service to a number of county agencies was cut Wednesday when a contractor working in the area accidentally sliced a cable.
County Administrator Warren Brown said there was no phone service to the Sandusky County Board of Elections, Board of Health, Agricultural Services Center, and Emergency Medical Service. He said 911 service was not affected.
The accident occurred about 7:30 a.m. when a contractor working on the county's new TRIPS Transportation Service building off Countryside Drive cut the line. Service was expected to be restored sometime today.
