Ohio Northern names financial affairs chief

ADA, Ohio -- Ohio Northern University has hired William H. Ballard as its new vice president of financial affairs.

Mr. Ballard, who has been vice president for finance and administration at Centenary College of Louisiana since 2003, replaces Roger Young, who has been interim vice president for the past year.

An Ohio native, Mr. Ballard was controller at Centenary for a year before becoming vice president. He also has worked in financial management for several utility companies and a Big Eight accounting firm, according to ONU.
