In addition to a Toledo fund-raiser on Wednesday, Republican candidate Mitt Romney will speak in Bowling Green.

He was going to be in the neighborhood anyway for a private fund-raiser, but soon-to-be Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has added a Bowling Green public event to his visit Wednesday to northwest Ohio.

Mr. Romney is expected to speak at 1:30 p.m. at a town hall meeting at the Bowling Green Community Center at 1245 West Newton Road. Ticket information is available at http://romneybowlinggreen.eventbrite.com.

At 11:30 a.m. the former Massachusetts governor plans a fund-raiser at the Toledo Club. Tickets are going for $10,000 a couple for a VIP photo reception or $50,000 a person to attend the photo event and a noon luncheon.

The event will follow by two days President Obama's latest visit to Ohio. Mr. Obama is to be host for a town hall meeting today in downtown Cincinnati, where he's expected to focus on his proposal to extend by one year the Bush-era tax cuts for the middle class while allowing the lower taxes on income of $250,000 or more to expire as scheduled at the end of the year.

Mr. Romney has called for renewal of all the tax cuts, arguing that raising taxes would harm small businesses and stifle job creation.
