Railroad work on Pickle to last 8 days

Railroad crossing repairs that closed Pickle Road between Woodville Road and Wheeling Street Wednesday are scheduled to take eight days to complete, the Oregon Department of Public Service announced.

Traffic will be detoured via Woodville and Wheeling until the work's conclusion Wednesday. Access to driveways on either side of the Pickle crossing will be maintained.

CSX Transportation is replacing railroad ties and making other upgrades on its line through East Toledo and Oregon. Trains may move slowly in the area during this maintenance.
