Toledo

The Maritime Academy of Toledo's "Welcoming Reception" celebrating the arrival of USS De Wert, HMCS Ville de Quebec, USS Hurricane, USCG Mobile Bay, and the Flagship Niagara, ships that are a part of Navy Week scheduled to arrive between 3-5 p.m. Reception will be held at the Maritime Academy of Toledo, 803 Water St., 2-6 p.m. Thursday. Enjoy the arrival of the ships from one of four balconies at the school overlooking the Maumee River and pier. A Niagara Gun Salute will take place at 3 p.m. and the Navy Band will perform.
