Solar panel-maker Isofoton North America, which is based in Napoleon, will hold a job fair for veterans, active-duty military, and guard and reserve members on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Henry County Office Complex in Napoleon. The company, which will create 330 jobs by 2013, requests resumes be emailed prior to the job fair to h.mallette@isofoton.com or j.gongwer@isofoton.com, but it will accept resumes at the event. Interviews will be arranged first on emailed resumes, then afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.

"Google rules the world," a presentation by Joe Sharp, CEO of Thread Marketing, is to be the topic of the monthly luncheon of the Toledo Area Small Business Association on Sept. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel, 3100 Glendale Ave. Cost: $25 for Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and EPIC members; $30 for nonmembers.
