Toledoan sentenced in prostitution case
A Toledo man was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Toledo Thursday to three years in prison for taking a woman across state lines for purposes of prostitution.
Taliaferro Lawson, 32, pleaded guilty in June to two counts of interstate transportation for prostitution and one count of destruction of evidence.
Judge David Katz sentenced him to three years in prison on each count to run concurrently and ordered three years of supervision after his release from prison.
