Mark A. Staples has been named vice president and chief information officer of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Mr. Staples has degrees from the University of Toledo and the University of FIndlay. He most recently worked at Northeastern University.
Toledo native Robert H. McMahon, a retired major general in the U.S. Air Force, has been named to the board of directors of NORDAM, a Tulsa-based aerospace firm.
Rober Veitch has been awarded the Timothy I. Murphy Excellence in Government Award, designed to recognize people who have shown a high degree of integrity, innovation, and exceptional governmental leadership. The award is presented by the Ohio Government Finance Officers Association, in association with the Ohio Office of Budget and Management. Mr. Veitch is the business manager and deputy fiscal officer for the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library.
