Because of a fire on Sunday at the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, the Northwest Ohio Silent Witness Project has moved its annual unveiling ceremony to Dayspring Church, 17360 Dixie Hwy., Bowling Green.

The ceremony, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, is held each year in October in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

During the event, 62 northwest Ohio women killed in the last decade by spouses, boyfriends, and stalkers will be represented by individual, life-sized wooden silhouettes.

Brenda Clubine, who founded Convicted Women Against Abuse, is to speak at the event, which is free and open to the public.
