Toledo woman ordered held on drug charges

A Toledo woman was being held in the Lucas County jail on Wednesday, charged in connection with a mushroom-growing operation uncovered by police last month.

Autum Johnson, 30, of 543 Colburn St., is charged with trafficking in drugs, illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of drugs, and tampering with evidence.

At an appearance on Wednesday in Toledo Municipal Court, she was ordered held in lieu of $25,000 bond with a 10 percent cash option.

Ms. Johnson was arrested Tuesday night.

She is accused of being involved with the mushroom-growing operation discovered by police on Sept. 16 at 2454 Woodford St. in East Toledo.

Police have said 137 pounds of the drugs, estimated at $3.1 million, was confiscated from several residences in Toledo and one in Whitehouse.

Police have also charged four other people for various roles in the operation: Sara Thierry, 38, and her husband, Matthew Thierry, both of 5910 Berkey-Southern Rd., Whitehouse, Mikael Stiles, 31, of 5360 Secor Rd., and Ian Golbinec, 31, of 240 Eastern Ave.
