Former Longfellow Elementary School destroyed

A wrecking crew reduces the former Longfellow Elementary School on Jackman Road to rubble. A new Longfellow opened this year on Laskey Road west of Jackman. The fireplace in the old building was preserved. It was incorporated into the new building's library.
