Wood Co. transportation needs focus of meetings

BOWLING GREEN — Transportation needs across Wood County will be the subject of four public “focus-group” meetings this week coordinated by Master of Public Administration students at Bowling Green State University and co-hosted by WSOS Community Action.

The series starts Tuesday with an 11 a.m. session at the North Baltimore Senior Center, 514 W. Water St., followed by one at the Weston Public Library, 13153 Main St., at 5:30 p.m. On Thursday, meetings will begin at 11 a.m. at the Pemberville Area Senior Center, 220 Cedar St., and at 5 p.m. at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green.

Lunch will be served after the two 11 a.m. meetings, with no reservations required but a $5 fee for people under 60 and a $2 donation requested from those 60 and older.

Dinner will be served after the session at the Wood County Senior Center, with a $7 fee/$4 donation and reservations required by 2 p.m. Thursday. Dinner reservations may be made by calling 419-353-5661 (in Bowling Green) or 1-800-367-4935.

There is no fee for participation in the focus-group meetings. No meal will be served after the Weston meeting.
