University of Toledo alumnus Tommy Watson of Holland — submerged in a 330-gallon tote — communicates Friday with UT sophomore Zech Hites as members of the Dive UT scuba-diving club try to break the world record for longest continual divers underwater in an enclosed environment at UT’s Student Union. The team began its attempt Monday and is trying to break the record of 165 hours by spending seven consecutive days — that’s 168 hours — underwater.
