FREMONT — The WSOS Community Action Commission board has approved a three-year contract for its recently hired president and chief executive.

The board Tuesday unanimously agreed to the contract with Ruthann House, who was hired in March.

She will be paid $105,019 a year.

Ms. House, the agency’s former vice president, takes over following the February retirement of Neil McCabe, who was placed on paid leave in December after Fremont police arrested him on gross sexual imposition and assault charges.

Mr. McCabe’s case is to go to jury trial in Fremont Municipal Court on May 30.
