ARCHBOLD, Ohio — Archbold has been designated as a Tree City USA for the 30th year by the Arbor Day Foundation, the foundation announced.
The recognition acknowledges Archbold’s “commitment to effective urban forest management,” the foundation said, including the existence of its tree commission, a tree-care ordinance, an annual forestry budget of at least $2 per capita, and its adoption of an Arbor Day observance or proclamation.
