Lucas County to mull roundabout on May 7
Public hearing to be held at 9:45 a.m. in downtown Toledo
4/29/2013The Lucas County commissioners will hold a public hearing at 9:45 a.m. May 7 to get comment on construction plans for a modern roundabout at the intersection of Sylvania-Metamora and Mitchaw roads in Sylvania Township.
The hearing will be in the commissioner’s assembly room at One Government Center in downtown Toledo. The commissioners hired TETRA Tech Inc. in 2011 for engineering and design work and right-of-way plans on the improvement project.
Copies of the engineering study and report on the project are available at the engineer’s office in Government Center.
The county hopes to begin construction on the $1 million roundabout in the summer of 2014, with completion in the fall.
