Flash Flood Warning Remains In Effect For Erie... Southern Lorain And Northern Huron Counties In North Central Ohio... And Medina County In Northeast Ohio

A flash flood warning means that flash flooding is imminent or occurring. If you are in the warning area... Move to higher ground immediately. Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. Do not attempt to cross a flooded area on foot or by automobile.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland had issued a Severe thunderstorm warning for... Erie county in north central Ohio eastern Ottawa County in northwest Ohio until 7:45 p.m.

The warning was issued at 6:54 p.m.

The National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail... And damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located near kelleys island... And moving southeast at 50 mph.

Locations impacted include: The islands; Sandusky.
