OAK HARBOR, Ohio — The Benton-Carroll-Salem Board of Education voted unanimously last week to place two levies on the November ballot.
Slated for the Nov. 5 general-election ballot are a five-year, 3.9-mill operating levy and a five-year, 1.2-mill permanent-improvement levy for the district. Both are renewals.
Heather Dewitz, board president, said a committee would be formed to educate the community about the two levy renewals. The board will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 6 in the board of education office for anyone interested in serving on the committee. For information, visit bcs.k12.oh.us.
