Lucas Co. disabilities panel seeks applicants
7/22/2013The Lucas County commissioners are seeking applicants to serve on the Toledo/Lucas County Commission on Disabilities for two-year terms.
The 21-member commission's job is to promote full participation of people with disabilities in the community. At least eight seats must be held by disabled people or family members, and the commission should be geographically representative.
The two-year terms expire Feb. 28, 2015. Application are available at the commissioners’ office at One Government Center, by calling 419-213-4500, or going online at the commissioners’ Web site under Quick Links. Applications will be accepted through Aug. 1.
