Additional parking 
on tap for Summit St.

Part of Summit Street near Cullen and Detwiler parks in North Toledo will be re-striped to create more curbside parking, city officials have announced.

The re-striping will occur later this month and eliminate one of two northbound travel lanes on Summit in that area. What is now the right lane will be converted to parking on the east side of the street. Two lanes will be maintained for southbound traffic.

“The Visions of Cullen Park and The Point Place Business Association requested the addition of parking along this section of roadway,” the city transportation division said in a statement.
