Mother’s Center annual open house on Sept. 12

The Mother’s Center of Greater Toledo invites area mothers to its open house in September.

The annual open house will be held from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Sept. 12, at McCord Road Christian Church, 4675 N. McCord Rd. Saundra Irvine, chef de cuisine for The Andersons, will be on hand providing tips for creating healthy lunches for children and mothers. The open house also includes snacks and giveaways.

The nonprofit organization, established in 1984, offers moms support, fun, friendships, and social activities. Little ones are also invited to events that provide moms a place to exchange parenting tips and experiences.

The group meets weekly at McCord Road Christian Church, and children are supervised while moms mingle.
