Bridge work to shut part of Alexis Road

Part of Alexis Road will be closed Thursday evening into Friday morning for concrete pours on two bridges being overhauled, the Ohio Department of Transportation has announced.

Starting at 6 p.m., Alexis will be closed to through traffic between Enterprise Boulevard-Benore Road and Detroit Avenue for the work on the bridges over Stickney Avenue and three railroads. The concrete pours are expected to take 12 hours to complete.

Traffic will be detoured via Benore and Detroit.
