Maumee historic home tour set for Saturday

The 17th annual historic home tour will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and feature five homes plus free admission to the Wolcott House Museum Complex and Maumee Memorabilia Museum. The tour begins at the Maumee Senior Center, 2430 Detroit Ave., with the distribution of programs.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the tour. Advance purchases can be made at The Andersons in Maumee, Jacky's Depot, Dibling Floor Coverings, the Maumee Chamber of Commerce, the Maumee Indoor Theater, the Maumee Senior Center, and the Wolcott House Museum Store.

The landscaped homes on the tour include an architecturally detailed Tudor with guest house, a 1917 Colonial Revival with a front portico, a late 1800s multigenerational home, and a 2000 home with many Victorian details. The tour price includes a dessert and viewing of pen and ink drawings of the homes at the senior center.
