Lily, a turkey vulture, spreads her wings as Mary Seth, director of Wings, Paws, and Prayers Wildlife Rehabilitation, shows several dozen people at the Bedford Branch Library in Temperance some of the predatory birds she has rescued.

During her lecture last week for the Bedford Flower and Garden Club, she also spoke about the challenges and joys of working with the animals.
