2 ramps to west I-475 to close this weekend

Traffic-pattern changes will close two ramps onto westbound I-475 in Toledo and restrict westbound traffic to a single lane as far as Monroe Street until early Sunday afternoon, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

The southbound I-75 exit to westbound I-475 was to close early today and reopen by 1 p.m. Sunday. The westbound Pro-Medica Parkway freeway entrance closed Friday evening and also has a 1 p.m. Sunday reopening schedule.

I-75 ramp traffic will be detoured to the Detroit Avenue interchange and return. ProMedica traffic will be detoured via local streets.

The closings will let crews shift traffic onto the freshly rebuilt left lanes before paving the right lanes’ finished surface, after which three years of I-475 reconstruction and widening east of Rushland Avenue will end.
