Sylvania Twp. leaf pickups begins next week

Sylvania Township will begin the first of three townshipwide leaf pickups next week.

Crews will start next Monday. Residents are asked to place loose leaves along road edges, not into traffic lanes. Bagged leaves or other yard waste will not be collected.

While the township plans at least one more round, if not two, collections in November and a final pickup after Thanksgiving, residents are urged to rake leaves as soon as possible.
