Oregon council OKs contract for help on block grants

Council has authorized a $14,500 contract with the Poggemeyer Design Group to assist the city with administration of $75,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds.

Poggemeyer also will be paid $319,576 for engineering services in connection with the relocation of Cedar Point Road for expansion of the BP-Husky Refining LLC refinery. The project includes funding from the Ohio Department of Transportation and a 50-50 cost-sharing agreement between the city and BP-Husky.
