Toledoan gets 17 months for throwing baby

A Toledo man was sentenced Wednesday to 17 months in prison for throwing a car seat that held an infant.

Walter Johnson, 32, of 1215 Peck St., pleaded guilty Oct. 11 to endangering children before Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Gene Zmuda, who imposed the prison sentence.

Johnson said he’d had an argument with an ex-girlfriend at the Moody Manor apartments when the incident occurred.
