A Napoleon man who tried to arrange a sexual encounter with an undercover officer posing as the father of an underage girl was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in prison.

Theodore Harmon, 56, was convicted May 29 of attempted enticement after a trial in U.S. District Court.

Harmon had traveled to a Rossford motel to have sex with a minor after making the arrangements online with a man he believed to be her father. Investigators found various sex toys, condoms, bondage ropes, and alcohol in the trunk of his vehicle.
