A former radio host and newspaper columnist who was involved in a road-rage incident in 2008 was indicted Thursday on felony drug and weapon charges.

Troy Neff, 35, of Curtice, Ohio, was indicted for possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, and carrying a concealed weapon. The charges stem from an Aug. 4 traffic stop in the 900 block of Forsythe Street where Toledo police said they found Mr. Neff in possession of acetaminophen and hydrocodone tablets and a loaded semi-automatic pistol.

In 2009, Mr. Neff was placed on probation for two years and ordered to take anger-management classes after his conviction for disorderly conduct with persistence in Perrysburg Municipal Court. He and another man had gotten into a fight after the motorist apparently cut Mr. Neff off in traffic.

After that incident, his radio show on WCWA-AM was taken off the air and his column in the Toledo Free Press was canceled.
