Blissfield DDA/Main Street will meet at Schultz-Holmes Memorial Library, 407 S. Lane St., at 6 p.m. Wednesday to discuss whether to form a downtown historic district.

Kelly Larson of the Michigan Main Street Center and the Michigan Historic Preservation Office will give a presentation. The community, especially downtown building owners, is invited.

Blissfield has two buildings on the national register: the David Carpenter House, commonly known as the Hathaway House, and First Presbyterian Church. Many sites are on the state’s list.
