BOWLING GREEN — Magistrate Pamela Heringhaus of the Wood County Common Pleas Court has been elected first vice president of the Ohio Association of Magistrates.

Ms. Heringhaus — previously a referee for the Wood County Juvenile Court — has also operated her own law practice and served as vice president and legal counsel for Kaufman’s Inc. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Florida State University and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Toledo.

The Ohio Association of Magistrates was established in 1989 to promote its members’ professional growth, effectiveness, and common interests.

Almost 25 years later, the OAM now has more than 500 members, representing courts throughout the state of Ohio.
