Part of Ashland Avenue closed after water-main break causes sink hole

Northbound Ashland Avenue closed about 8 a.m. today between Bancroft Street and Collingwood Boulevard for what city officials describe as "water work" but appears to have been the scene of a water-main break.

No completion time for repairs was announced. Ashland remains open to southbound traffic.
