Heartbeat of Toledo seeks funds for new site

Heartbeat of Toledo has two fund-raising drives under way for its new location at 101 Main St. So far, $187,000 of the needed $300,000 has been raised or pledged. The goal is to collect enough money to cover three years worth of operating costs, according to Pat Hodak, executive director. It also is trying to raise $13,500 for an ultrasound machine at the new location.
