Humane society offering deals on its pocket pets
12/11/2013The Toledo Area Humane Society is having a special adoption promotion through the end of the month.
The adoption fee for pocket pets — rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and the like — has been waived. Rabbits typically cost $25 to adopt while the others are usually $10.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the organization had eight rabbits, four guinea pigs, and two rats available.
