Way Public Library will have two free film viewings on Thursday and Friday.

At 10:30 a.m. Thursday WGTE and the library is showing Romancing the River: A Maumee Love Story. It is a Toledo Stories episode that features Steve Pollick, a former outdoors editor for The Blade. He and a team paddled the entire length of the Maumee River over four days and 122.8 miles from Fort Wayne to downtown Toledo. The show chronicles his adventure. A discussion will follow.

The Butterfly will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday. The French film with English subtitles tells the story about the friendship between an elderly entomologist and his neighbor as they travel to find a rare “Isabella” butterfly. The film will be shown in the Mercy Family Activity Room.
