Wintry weather forcing area closings, cancellations

Some schools announce Tuesday closings

BUSINESS

— The Toledo Museum of Art is closed until Tuesday.

— The Toledo Zoo is closed until Tuesday.

— Franklin Park Mall will remain closed Monday, however restaurants and the movie theater may reopen.

— Hollywood Casino Toledo is closed and will reopen at 6 p.m. Monday.

— KeyBank is closing its locations in Toledo metro, Defiance, and southeast Michigan on Monday.

— The Town Center at Levis Commons in Perrysburg is closed Monday.

— All office sites for Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. and Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. will be closed on Monday.

— Toledo firefighter's federal credit union closed Monday.

— All Fifth Third Bank locations in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan are closed Monday.

— All Glass City Federal Credit Union branches are closed Monday

— ProMedica Credit Union closed Monday.

 

GOVERNMENT

— Bowling Green City Council has canceled Monday's meeting.

— Defiance County offices will be closed Tuesday.

— Maumee City Council Meeting has been postponed until Tuesday Jan. 7 at 7:00 p.m.

— All Perrysburg city offices, except safety services are closed today.

— Perrysburg Municipal Court is closed.

 

MEDICAL

— All Toledo-area Mercy Medical Partners physician offices as well as InterMed Associates physician office and Oregon Clinic office will be closed Monday morning.

— Mercy Cancer Center at St. Anne and Mercy Cancer Center at St. Charles will be closed Monday.

— Mercy St Charles Hospital's Pain Clinic is closed Monday.

— Mercy Occupational Health offices at St. Charles, St. Vincent and Arrowhead are all closed Monday.

— The VA Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic will be closed Monday.

— Toledo/Lucas County CareNet is canceling the Marketplace/Medicaid enrollment event scheduled for Monday at Mercy St. Anne’s Hospital. Individuals can contact United Way 211 to reschedule.

— Wood County Health District is closed Monday and Tuesday.

 

SCHOOLS

— Perrysburg Schools closed Tuesday.

— Sylvania Schools closed Tuesday.

— St. Francis de Sales closed Tuesday.

— Toledo Public Schools closed Tuesday.

— The University of Toledo has canceled classes for Monday and Tuesday. The Catharine S. Eberly Center for Women will also be closed but UTMC, the former Medical College of Ohio, remains open.

— Bowling Green State University is closed until 10 p.m. Tuesday.

— Lourdes University is closed Monday.

— Owens Community College is closed Monday and Tuesday.

— Herzing College is closed Monday.

— Davis College is close Monday.

— Paul Mitchell School of Toledo in Sylvania in closed Monday.

 

SERVICES

— All Metroparks in Lucas County will be closed on Monday because of the Level 3 Snow Emergency.

— All Toledo-Lucas County libraries will be closed Monday.

— The City of Toledo says it will not pick up trash from Monday's routes until next week. Trash pickup for Tuesday through Friday will be one day late.

— Lucas County Children's Services closed Monday; child abuse hotline remains open.

— Bowling Green trash and recycling collection is canceled Monday. Collection for the week will operate on a one-day delay.

— Bowling Green Transit operations are suspend while the Level 3 emergency is in effect for Wood County.

— Defiance County Landfill closed Monday.

— Holland trash collection will be delayed until Thursday. Recycling will be picked up as normal on Wednesday.

— Republic Services will not have waste collection Tuesday. Collection is expected to resume on Wednesday, with a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.

 

SPORTS

— Toledo Walleye game slated for Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Evansville, Ind. has been rescheduled for Jan. 29.
