People whose Republic Services trash pickups were missed this week in Toledo and neighboring communities may place overflow garbage bags next to their regular carts next week for collection, the company announced Friday.
Garbage collection was canceled Monday and Tuesday in Toledo, and on Monday only in many suburbs, because of the snowstorm Sunday. People affected by those cancellations only may leave bagged refuse next to their bins if necessary.
People whose recycling collections were missed should place their recycling bins curbside next week on their normal garbage day, Republic said. Pickups then will be made within two days.
Pickups on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week were delayed by one day, so normal Friday routes will be run today.
