Several homes under water boil advisory in Findlay

FINDLAY -- A water main break caused a water boil advisory today for several houses along Sixth Street, Washington Avenue, Fifth Street, and Bank Street in Findlay, authorities said.

The affected houses are 417, 535, 542, 544, 545, and 546 Sixth St.,1501 Washington Ave.; 515 Fifth St.,and 1414 Bank St.

The water main break was reported about 2 a.m. in the 500 block of Sixth, according to Jeff Betts, the water distribution supervisor for the city.

The advisory is in affect from 8:30 a.m. until further notice.

Findlay, the seat of Hancock County, is about 45 miles south of Toledo.
