Police investigate pair of W. Toledo robberies

Toledo police are looking for suspects in two separate robberies this weekend.

A man who robbed a West Toledo convenience store Sunday night got away with $150 in rolled-up coins.

Police report a man went into In & Out Mart, 4721 Lewis Ave., at 11:02 p.m. Sunday, pointed a gun at a clerk, and demanded all the money in the store. When the clerk said she had no money, he demanded she open the safe, took the coin rolls, and fled northbound on Lewis, according to a police report.

On Friday, at 7:38 p.m., Wireless Boys, a cell-phone store, was robbed by an armed man.

An employee told police that the man went into the store at 528 S. Reynolds Rd. and pointed a black gun with a wooden handle at the employee and demanded cash, according to a report. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
