Grand jury indicts man on 1 burglary charge

A Toledo man who was shot while allegedly trying to break into a West Toledo home was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury Wednesday on one count of burglary.

Randy Estrada, 21, of 3722 Burton Ave. is charged with trying to break into a home on Leybourn Avenue on Dec. 5.

While Mr. Estrada called police to report he’d been shot while walking along Jackman Road, Antoine Garret, 34, called to report he had fired several shots at an intruder attempting to break into his house through a window.
