Magee Marsh looking for volunteers
2/3/2014Volunteers are needed March through November at the wildlife area and migratory bird center. A training session is scheduled for noon on March 8 at the bird center, which includes a pizza lunch.
Those interested should visit the Friends of Magee Marsh Facebook page, click on “message,” and send a name, phone number, and address, or email to store@friendsofmageemarsh.org.
Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of one six-hour day per month at the wildlife area and bird center, 13229 West State Rt. 2. It is open weekends, beginning March 1, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
