The Lucas County Pit Crew will hold its first-ever canine fashion show from 7 to 11 p.m. Feb. 22 at Central Park West in Toledo.

Proceeds from Puttin’ on the Glitz for Cutie and the Pits will benefit the “pit bull” rescue group and Cutie’s Fund, a program to help dogs that come into Lucas County Canine Care & Control with high-cost medical needs.

Lissa Guyton of WTVG-TV, Channel 13, will host the event. Guests can enjoy music by Marious, refreshments, a cash bar, and a silent auction. Tickets, which cost $60 per person, can be purchased in advance at lucascountypitcrew.com. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door.

Through Feb. 17, sponsors may purchase a front-row table for eight and a half-page ad in the program for $1,500, or two tickets with preferential seating and a quarter-page ad for $500. The dogs in the show can also be sponsored for $200, which includes a pair of tickets.

The Pit Crew is accepting donations of items for the silent auction. To donate, contact the organization at 419-708-8848 or canineadvocate1@yahoo.com.
