The drive will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Toledo Police Patrolman’s Association Hall, 1947 Franklin Ave. To schedule a donation appointment, go to redcrossblood.org and enter KEITHDRESSEL as the code.

Detective Dressel, 35, a 13-year department veteran working in the vice unit, was shot and killed Feb. 21, 2007, on North Ontario Street.

His killer, 15-year-old Robert Jobe, is now 22 and serving 15 years to life with an additional 3 years for a gun specification. He is in Mansfield Correctional Institution.
